From Engineering to advertising.

Chris began his career as a Civil Engineer, before seeing the error of his ways, throwing away the overall analytical engineering career for a career in creativity.

He studied graphic design & animation along with web design before finding the world of advertising through AWARD School, where he placed.

Since then Chris has worked in the industry for just shy of 10 years as an Art Director . He’s worked at agencies that operate in Perth and Sydney as well as working remotely for an agency in London and directly for clients in San Francisco.

Throughout his career he has worked on some big brands including, Netflix, Woolworths, Hyundai, Kelloggs, Greenpeace, Everyday Rewards, Amnesty International, EA Games, Ben & Jerry’s, HBF, WA Tourism, St John Ambulance and Optus.

Chris has won awards at Cannes, The One Show, Clio, AWARD, PADC’s, Ad Stars and many more throughout his career so far.

From 2018 to 2022 Chris has lead the digital design team at Marketforce a Clemenger Agency, the department covers design, animation, ideation and digital content.

In 2016 Chris’ team won the Perth leg of the NASA Space Apps Challenge in which 20,000 contestants from all over the world compete in over one weekend to solve problems that have stumped NASA in the last 12months. Chris’ team went on to finish 5th in the world out of 20,000 entries.
